Halloween Ceramics Workshop with Mims Ceramics - In Store Event

This workshop is for all skill levels! Join us for a spooky season celebration.

Noa of Mims Ceramics will guide you on how to hand build and decorate your own functional ceramic pipe or home good. (You can make what you like!)

This will be a smaller workshop with up to 8 attendees.

Included in class:
• Instruction
• All materials
• Clear or single color glazing
• All firings
• Finished pieces will be available for pickup 2-4 weeks after the event

By signing up for this workshop, you agree to the terms and code of conduct stated below.

Terms: Neither Proud Mary or Mims Ceramics are liable for theft or damage to personal property while attending an event in our space. By attending, you release Proud Mary and Mims Ceramics of any liability for bodily injury sustained on premises. 

Media Release: I hereby allow Proud Mary and Mims Ceramics to take and publish photographs, video, and / or audio of me. These images may be published on social media, our website, or in our email newsletter. 

If you wish to opt out, please let us know in advance.

Cancellation policy: Due to the limited availability of workshops, we cannot issue refunds for attendee cancellation. We do allow transferring of tickets to another party. It is your responsibility to make them aware of our terms and code of conduct upon transferring any tickets.

Refund policy: We reserve the right to cancel this workshop due to low enrollment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the session. If you are unable to attend a rescheduled workshop, you will be issued a refund. 

COVID policy: If you test positive for COVID or have symptoms, do not attend your scheduled workshop. In this instance, please contact us and let us know that you cannot attend. If you would like to receive a store credit towards a future workshop or merchandise, please email us your Positive PCR results (it must be a valid test with your name included) or a doctor's note. No refunds will be issued.

Mask policy: Masks are encouraged and will be available for those who would like to wear one.

Food and Drink policy: No food or drink will be provided. 

Accessibility: The shop is on ground level and is wheelchair accessible. Provided seating will be folding chairs without arms. If you need special accommodations, please contact us. 

Restroom: We do not make our restroom available due to liability and accessibility. Please keep in mind. 

Parking: Street parking along Figueroa is free for one hour until 8pm. Side street parking is free without time limitations. Our parking lot is available but small and first come first serve.

Discounts: Workshop attendees will receive 10% off on any in-store purchases the day of their workshop. Consignment artists and gift cards are excluded.
